Easy Father’s Day Gifts Crafts

Father’s Day offers a chance to show Dads and Grandpas just how much they’re loved-and plenty of opportunities to get little hands crafting. Here are three
Father’s Day Craft gifts that are easy to make and sure to put a smile on Dad’s face.

Dad’s Day Mugs

Surprisingly easy to make, these mugs can be gently hand-washed after the paint hardens-just keep them out of the dishwasher!

You’ll need:

  • White ceramic Mug
  • Food-grade Painters Pens
  • Stickers (stars, letters, and other shapes).

Wash the mug well and let it dry. Have the child place the stickers on the mug (use letter stickers to spell out Dad).

Now use the painters’ pens to scribble all over the mug in bright colors. Let the mug dry again, then carefully peel off the stickers to reveal the white
surface underneath.

Set the oven to 350 and bake the mug for thirty minutes to set the paint.

Red Carpet Stick Card

This one’s a little more difficult, but the satisfaction on your little one’s face when Dad rolls out his own red carpet will be well worth it!

You’ll need:

  • 6 4.5-inch craft sticks
  • 1-inch wide masking tape
  • Red acrylic paint
  • Permanent markers
  • Gold Glitter glue
  • ¼” wide red ribbon
  • Glue gun.

Place two craft sticks together along their length, and tape them lengthwise. Turn the two sticks over, add a second stick, and tape it to the bottom of
the two taped sticks. Turn over again and repeat the process until all the sticks are taped together, with tape “hinges” on alternating sides so you can
fold the sticks one on top of the other.

Paint one side of the sticks red, leaving the ends of the sticks unpainted. Let dry, and then use the glitter glue to give the “carpet” a gold edge.

Write a message on the paint, such as “we’re rolling out the red carpet for you!”

Glue the ribbon to the back of the top craft stick, and fold up the tape hinges. Use ribbon to tie it in a bow, so when Dad opens it the red carpet
unfolds.

Candy Beer Mug

If Dad enjoys a cold mug of beer, this is the craft for him. It’s also incredibly easy, so even young children can help.

You’ll need:

  • Glass beer mug
  • Butterscotch candies
  • 10 large marshmallows
  • Cellophane
  • Ribbon.

Pour the butterscotch candy into the mug until it’s two-thirds full. Add the marshmallows until the “beer foam” is slightly higher than the mug. Wrap the
entire thing in see-through cellophane and tie with a ribbon.
